Mesne Lea Primary School Eco Council
At Mesne Lea Primary School, our Eco Council is made up of enthusiastic pupils who are dedicated to making our school a greener and more sustainable place. Our role is to encourage everyone to care for the environment and to take action to protect our planet.
So far, our Eco Council members have met to discuss a range of exciting initiatives and projects we can introduce in school. We have already formed community links with Walkden in Bloom and worked together to create beautiful planters that are now displayed around our local area.
Looking ahead, our future projects and roles will include becoming Recycling Champions and Wildlife Protectors to help reduce waste, save energy, and enhance our school grounds. We plan to organise activities such as litter picks, gardening projects, recycling schemes, and environmental awareness campaigns to inspire positive change.
By working together, we aim to make a real difference, both in our school and in our local community.
Keep an eye out for updates on our latest eco-friendly initiatives! 🌱
